Custom diabetic inserts
Your feet have their own shape. Your inserts should, too. At Family Medical, we take detailed 3D images of your feet. Ped-Lite uses those images to create a computer-aided design (CAD), then makes your custom inserts to that design. We fit the inserts and shoes together, checking the space and support as a complete pair.

3D images of your feet
We capture the shape of your feet in three dimensions at our Napa store. These images are the starting point for your custom inserts.
Designed and made by Ped-Lite
Ped-Lite uses your images to create an individual CAD design, then produces your inserts from that design.
Your final fitting
When your inserts arrive, you’ll try them in your shoes. We’ll check their position, the room around your feet, and how the shoes and inserts feel together.

Bring the shoes you plan to wear with your inserts and any prescription or foot-care instructions. If you’re using insurance, we’ll review the paperwork and explain any expected out-of-pocket cost before placing your order.
